Anywhere to ride now off 84 in Idaho?

Anywhere to ride now off I 84 in Idaho?

It looks like I will be going to southern Idaho next week to pick up a sled, so on the way back to southern Washington I'd like to ride it. Is there anywhere with elevation enough to ride somewhat near I 84? Thanks

Thanks for this.....I hear you can drive all the way up to 8000ft at Snowbank to park the rig, sweet! A lady who runs a motel in Cascade said people sled there until August!

Anyone up for a ride on Tues PM or Wednesday? I hope to have an 09 M8 Sno pro with me by then!

"riding in August" Not this year or at least not in a very free fashion! It's going away very fast. Just about 1/2 the snowpack of years gone by right now. You can still (as the photos and reports from the Carl's Demo show) find some places to ride around and play on. Another possibility and much easier direct access for your trip is the Anthony Lakes ski area SW of North Powder Oregon. It's 19 paved miles from I84 on the Washington side of Baker City. Drive up to about 7000ft in the ski area parking lot unload and go. Gunsite is unmolested and waiting for you movie boys! If you go as you are facing the ski runs peer up to the tippy top on your left and you'll see what I am referring too. More of a stunt then a climb...zero margin for error..and the return trip should be "memorable"!
