What does it smell like while burning?
Carbon build up?
Viscosity? how thick does it get when its below zero compared to a full syn?

Im thinking of running this in a 09 800 polaris cfi motor, anyone with direct experience with this oil in this motor.

Thanks for any info you have.

I've been running this oil in my sleds for the last 8 years. Smell? I dunno, smells like two stroke to me. LOL. Usually after a season of riding, 1500-2000 miles, I pull the valves and can wipe them clean with rag, there have been a few times when I have had to scrape some carbon off, but it doesn't take much to clean them. I've ridden at -20 before, and never have had any problems with the viscosity. These are the sleds that we have/do run this oil in.

2007 RMK 600 4200 miles
2005 RMK 900 3700 miles
2008 M8 1500 miles
2006 Switchback 600 2500 miles
2002 ZR800 6500 miles
2005 Doo Renegade 600 6500 miles
2002 RMK 700
1998 XC 700 7500 miles
2002 XC700 4800 miles
2001 Yamaha SX700R 6800 miles

Never have had any problems using the Citgo Sea and Snow in any of these sleds. Plus, I can get it locally for 12 bucks a gallon.:D

Any oil usually flows to -40 to be certifed.

Honestly, I ran Polaris BLue for 7500 miles on a single top end on a 97 RMK 700. It was only down 10 lbs on compression.

After pulling it down, I should have just buttoned it right back up. Nothing on the head, minimal carbon in the exhaust ports and a perfect wash and minimal carbon on piston.

Oil is even better now.

I'd run whats cheap and available.

I know guys that run 8 buck Super Tech wal mart oil in PSI engines and never have a problem.(I think it's Pennzoils repackaged)

No oil today will "cause your engine to seize" Thats all wives tales.

Run it.

come on jason i thought you were sold on arctic blue. you seen what 3800 miles without cleaning the exhaust valves look like. readaily available at fleet farm LMFAO

i use it in everything, new to old, wheelers, boat, all sleds, check the crankin 06 9 thread for more info on oils, label says that it is recommended by all manufacturers

I also saw the pistons, cylinder, and rings on that ski daddler of yours. But that was a ski doo design flaw im thinking more than oil. And BTW that artic blue stinks bad, maybe you should try citgo sea and snow this year Shon, its also available at fleet farm.

There area a few guys over on TY that swear it is the same as Yamalube 2S. I ran it in my old XCR without any problems. I am going to ride a 09 800 RMK this year and I am thinking about running the same oil. I just can't stomach spending $40/gallon on the polaris oil.

why support that ******* from Venezuela? citgo is his company, steer clear of his gas stations and his products.
