My car died on me on Monday. I had it towed off the glenn to conti subaru. Just found out my engine is toast. Could anyone help me get it out to the valley to a friends house so I can tear into it?

This was my 3rd engine. so pissed this happened again

Rent a car dolly from U-Haul then you can tow it like a trailer.

Don't know much about Subaru's (obvious) but can't you disconnect the driveshafts on it then tow it?

Try "Brett's Auto Mover" or towing, something along those lines. He has a slide deck truck, and may offer a discount if he is returning to the Valley from Anchorage, as he is based in Big Lake.

I got half price from Anchorage to Big Lake a few moons back.

I ended up getting it towed to a buddies new shop here in town so we could look at it, cost me $65 bucks couldn't go wrong.

I don't get on here much cause my sled is in wisconsin and you all are starting riding season without me, and im pissed!!!

Well verdict was in on this on Wednesday. The idler bearing went, car jumped timing and took out the valves on the passenger side. Got it timed and she ran. Just sounds like she is eating herself, kinda epic. Have to wait til sunday to tear her down more and really get a good look inside.

yeah...um. I borrowed a buddies car taht had a little rod knock and basically the engine went last night.

Anyone with a trailer again? I just can't wing the $150 tow to the valley to get his car back to him and fix my car :s

umm what year is it ? ive replaced more then a few of the 2.2 and 2.5 timing belts and none of them took out any valves.
