Anyone try CMX A-Arms?

caster

Whoa cowboy! geo thats a lot of material. Thats not what i was getting at but thanks. Turboless terry if i gatherered all my info correctly you dont need lowers and you dont need spindles, all you need is the uppers. Even if you got the alt impact titanium uppers thats under $400. Still a bit more than i want to spend, but a far cry from $1500. Im holding out for Alt i to do the uppers in c moly, and if that doesnt happen i will probably just get the ti uppers.

moly you are stuck buying the whole kit from mark. he will not separate. I tried. The spindles are different than stock. The tie rod location has been changed.

I think you are missing the point. Alternative Impact makes a set the mimics the geometry of the CMX. That might be backwards since he was making them for CMX in the past I guess, either way through Alternative Impact all you need is the upper... It might not be the exact same as the CMX but similar as far as geometry goes? Someone should know that last part.

if what cmx is saying is true if you just order a top arm and change your castor...your going to run into bump steer...ask altenitive impact if their arms will cause bump steer before buying them...

I will try to find some time to make a call tomorrow. Ive already talked to dan at least twice, starting to feel like a pain in the ars but i guess thats part of selling.

I have the complete cmx front end with the raptor shocks. I could tell a huge improvement over stock when riding in the slushy snow. I only got two rides with them this spring but the steering effort is much less. And like all of Marks products they are hard to beat when comparing crastmanship.

I would highly recommend them.

Confirmed. You do not need spindles, you can use the stock ones, and no bump steer as long as you shim the steering tie rods, two small washers basically.
