Was looking at a Camoplast finger style track 144"x2.25x15. Wondering if anyone has any experience w/ that style and how it would compare to a challenger or something similar. how do they work?

hey, i used one on my edge, we have wetter snow where i live, it did ok but in softer snow it trenched pretty bad.

a guy around here that builds sleds mentiond that thoes tracks are more used with racing giving the hard packed snow. Thats all i was told.

But i used mine for a season, it worked but i probly wouldnt use it again.

Had one on a Crossfire 700...it was great on hard pack or crust, trenched pretty bad in soft powder...but it was a fun track to have...grabbed like a short tracker with a track full of studs!

Thanks for the responses. I guess I won't buying one of those tracks. I would rather sacrifice hard pack performance for powder performance.
