Anyone Tried These Vents?

Have them on my sled the clutch side gills will get plugged with snow and freeze up if you install the pet screen as they recommend. Ended up cutting the screen down so that it will mount up against the inside lip of the openings. I used shoe goop applied to the edge of the screen. A little snow will stick to screen but can easily be wiped off. I also used steel rivets instead of the plastic rivets they come with as I run a little brush and did not want they torn off.

I'm gonna be going with xxxmodrod vents for my pro, I've heard goodthings about there vents, prices are pretty good to.

Put these gill vents on mine. Did a little touch up of my own to make the fit and finish look factory before I riveted them on. Used a small hole saw (about 1 1/4") for the side panel placed strategically inside each gill after I riveted the gills on. Left out the screen on the clutch side and haven't had one problem even in deep snow. Best thing about them is you can really bang through the brush with no worries. I was worried at first they might catch on something, but not a single problem so far and they definitely help well with cooling. Best vents I've ever had. Lots of great vents out there but to me these these are the most heavy duty yet ultralight and have the most finished look and are yet very functional.
