Anyone tried or riden an M8 with speedwerks race motor??

Thinking about going that route, it's an 800 with porting and twin pipes and an updated ecu. Have to run race gas, but still sounds good. Anyone seen these on the snow?? thanks

I've heard they run good but you probably want to keep a spare set of pistons handy.

I have a 06 with the speedwerx motor and I have had 0 problems with anything. Runs better than almost any non turbo sled. Just bought an 09 just like it. The 06 is for sale also.

Thanks guys, whats with needing extra pistons???? Does it run lean?? or what? This is for an 07 M8 race porting and head, twin pipes, arctic cat reprogrammed ECU. thanks

And, it uses stock pistons, and no fuel controler.....

 

[RACINSTATION]

They RIP and are almost as realiable as stock. No controller needed. Just run the right gas in accordance to the head cut you are running.
