Anyone stayed at Mountain Meadows Cabins in the Snowy's????

We stayed there two years ago. The cabins are cozy and decent - heat works well and showers are hot. The small cabins are SMALL.

They do not have food/drink. I don't recall whether they had gas - but Snowy Mtn. Lodge does - about 1/2 mile away.

The only challenge we had (flatlanders) was the shortage of oxygen. Mtn Meadow is at about 9,600 I think and the thin air made it hard for some of us to sleep.

All in all - we were very happy staying there.

All the cabins have full kitchens with all the utensils provided and gas grills for barbecuing. Its a great set up if you want to save a little $$. They also rent sleds, but do not sell gas. Ph # 307-742-6042:D

I have stayed several times, clean and warm, Chris is a great guy. But if you do go take gas the lodge just down the trail has gas but shes 5 bones a gal ouch! Oh ya if you like cocktail after a hard day on the mountain you better pack your own. Otherwise the closest is Cenntinel. Have fun and be carefull of the steeper shoots.

The one time we were in the Snowy's we stayed here. We thought it was great. Plenty of parking space and the cabins were very nice. We did our own cooking and it was just a short drive down the rode to gas/food if you wanted it.

We always stay in centinnial, old corral is a real nice place bar is in walking distance and nothing beats an out door hot tub after a long days ride

Clean and comfortable also very affordable. We stayed last year and we will stay again.
just my 2cents worth

chris is very helpful if you need something being your own food and I will stay there every time i can get a cabin. If it is not full. it is worth staying on the mountain you don't have to load up every day and if you want to stop and eat and relax you have place stop.
