anyone seen this before, and sleds loading up bigtime

anyone seen this before, and sleds loading up bigtime, 03 900 1M

03 900 1M. I was out riding the ditches and I hit a nice big drift then landed pretty hard on the back end. I didnt think anything of it till i felt the track rubbing a little. Got off to look for some bent rails, didnt see it. Rode it a little more, still rubbing somewhere, so my buddy and I took another look, what we saw was something ive never seen happen before. The rear shock where it mounts to the center boggie wheels had somehow flipped over and when it compressed it hit the track. Since im not sure if the description is understandable ive posted a pic. Another thing that happend was the front suspension arm broke.

What a day. Also while I was riding the sled seemed to be loading up, I used a ton of gas in 5 miles of ditch riding. Just a few specs on the sled, Its an 03mountain cat 900 1m. its all stock except for the thing can. Its set up at 0 ft. 20 deg. 450 jets needle in pos 4. the actual elevation is around 1200 ft. If anyone has some setup tips or the correct setup please let me know. fyi it didnt load up with stock can but it ran very weak. the thing woke it up alot.

My guess is that when the front arm broke it caused some slack in track tension and caused the rear mount to cam over. I know intalling a suspension it is easy to install and have it cam over like that.

I've repaired them before by sleeving a new piece of steel into the arm and welding it up. Gets you through a few more rides but deffinatly not a perminent fix. For the frice order a new arm. I belive the 05's were a little stronger but weigh a bit more
