Anyone running the SLP kit on their XP???

Just wondering if anyone has put a Y-pipe, reads, head, or pipe on?

What difference if any when put on one item on at a time?

Interested in the Y-pipe, thats why im asking.....

Chaz

Nothing from SLP is out yet for the XP's. I was told the end of the month. I am going to put their performance package on mine as soon as its out. Know alot of people that had good luck with theirs on the 07's

I too have been contemplating adding the kit to my '07 XRS, but wonder if that added 20hp would be just the amount to put that engine over the edge or pushing it too far.
I did phone them and said I already have a can (HPS mind you), so they will reduce the price $250 for the kit.(which is nice)
they do have a good breakdown on the performance of each part on their website. the heads and Y-pipe are the biggest gains.

There are some of us using the 07 kit on our 08's, with good results. I have a head and y-pipe on mine and it pulls real hard. No problems. Still waiting for the reeds.

Big Johnson Id like to know what your jetting is. I have the head and Y pipe with 560 mains and two washers under the needles.

j trimble, I am running 490 mains and no shims also with Timbersled air intake. I checked the plugs and they look almost perfect. I ride between 7000 and 10500.

I did the head, y-pipe, and intake at the same time. I seem to have lost my crisp throttle response, I think I will put the stock airbox back on for this weekend.
