anyone running a pcv on the axys

Disappointed as well mine DET's too, his map does not solve the problem. I think he maps for WOT not for ride ability. DTR says to add fuel where it is Detonating....easier said than done!

I did get a map form SSI that I'm going to try, pm if you want it.

It seams like lots of the ssi pipe mod are getting det, the trail guys are complaining about it alot. With your hight elevation head did you change map ? Might be the issue. Also mabe try DTR eth map it was rich for me, good power, same as the 91 map just not leaving black marks anymore. But for the guys getting det. Should work good.

I have been adding fuel across the board. Jim's original map for the SSI pipe doesn't have any changes in the fuel curve until 6500 and up. In talking with SSI he sent me a map that starts to add 2% at 4000 then goes up to 3% when it gets into the 6500 and a little more as it goes up from there. The last time out I put the Bikeman pipe back on, ran in non-ethanol mode and it DET once at the lower elevation I test at (9000) I'm close and most likely switching to etahanol mode would solve this. Sled seems to run better in the non mode so going to try and add fuel to tune the DET out of this and work from there. When I start going higher in elevation it never DET's. Once I get the Bikeman pipe to work I will put the SSI back on and start on that map. Too bad that the support for the PCV isn't out there like it use to be.

I ran the DTR map for the non ethanol mode today and I had a detonation code. I am not sure if it is my fuel quality or what. I was kind of disappointed that I had to switch back to the ethanol mode. I really want a map that will allow me to run in the non ethanol mode. I will appreciate any help that I can get to make that possible. I am running the SSI pipe mod. Thanks.

what year? 15 or 16, makes a big difference

Have had my BMP pipe and PCV sitting in a box for a week, no time to install :face-icon-small-sad
Hoping to have some success with it, will be riding about 4500-5500 feet. Going to start out in Eth mode, load up the MDS weights, and go from there. Target RPM is about 8400?

its 8300 with just bmp pipe, but with pcv and timing that changes

I have the "fuel only" pcv, no timing changes. DTR said they were seeing some cases of det with that setup...

Looks like I am going to put my slp pipe on the wifes 17 SBA and then run a bikeman and pcv on my sks.

Howdy Fellas!
If anyone is still wondering about their mapping or has some problematic spots while riding, feel free to attach and email your map to sled@powercommander.com and I'll take a look.
Please describe the issue, what sled the PCV is installed on, what fuel setting mode the problem may occur in, any modifications, riding area, and fuel quality in the message.
I still have my demo AXYS 800 ProRMK 163x3" to ride and can try some things if needed before the season runs out.

I have two 2016 sleds. One is SKS. Other is Pro-S. Both have the SSI Pipe Mod with Dynotech's PCV mapping for fuel and timing. I've run the Pro-S on trail for 600 miles with no issue. I've run the SKS 150 miles with 4 DET that came in the 6500-7000 rpm range. No problems at all with DET when ripping 8400. Seems like on trail she starts to drop performance when I'm doing long pulls. I'm guessing Pipe is getting too hot and hp is dropping.

Dyno proves 5 more hp from ssi pipe mod with PCV. My seat of the pants trail time can't tell if there is any more performance coming from the SSI set up over my previous good running SLP set up. Seems like the SLP doesn't drop on the long pulls. "Just my felt experiences" They're so close I can't feel the diff. 3000 miles with SLP and never a DET though.

I have a Power Commander V with Ignition Module and 2 map handlebar switch for sale. It has two maps currently loaded. Changing maps takes a few minutes max. Plug your laptop in and load a map. PM me or text/call at (208)250-5139 if interested. The unit is in perfect shape (used about 4 times).
