Anyone ran timbersleds xp air intake?

curious to see how it worked in deep and dry.I like the idea of clearing the plastic plenum out of the way but not sure about where its drawing air from.also anyone run their xp vents?thanks

Timber sled air intake

I put Alan's kit on my 07 XRS 800r last year. It ran better with the airbox, until, I put air screens on both side panels. It was not getting air to cool down the intake. I had a low end delay on throttle. I put cold air screen on both sides. I opended the botton and middle sections with 2 inch holes under the covers. I had an instant improvement. I now feel the benefit. I do like the intake and would put another one on if I had another Rev. Good luck. Alan also has jetting suggestions if you are having issues, call him before you get frustrated.
