I dont know exactly what you would call it but you know the way cat has the outside rail on thier running brd angling up onto the tunnel? I have had stuff like this on other sleds and liked it. Anyone make a bolton for the xp? thnx sj

I have these on my 06. They are made by ski-doo. I use them alot to brace when i have to kick the backend around.
got these from 'Doo dealer as well, wish they were a bit wider tho. once some snow gets in front of them, it's like an "off ramp" for your foot....:(

that's the chit right there, I like that. something that won't hold snow in front of it.

Marcuso took good care of me for my sons sled. Started out looking like this

Had 'em for well over a year now and they still look great. This sled does come down hard on occasion with a 240 lb rider attached.....or not. EW

Thats what I bees talkin about!!! But i want something i can rivet on myself or take it to a local welder i sppose. That marcuso from here?

Yes, its the same Marcuso.

I made some for my cat, just took some 1/2" alum roundbar and slipped it all the way down the rolled edge or as far as I could get it, left about 1" of it sticking out and then welded a piece of 1" x 1/4" to it up to a piece of 1/8" flat plate about 2"long by about 1.25" high . Then I just riveted the flat plate to the tunnel. No pics here at the office but I can get some tonight and will post tomorrow if you like.

that would be great. thanks. sj

As promised. Sorry it took a little longer, family things came up.

They ain't fancy, but they only cost about $5 to make and they are on my backup sled so they don't see a ton of riding abuse. I just anchored the roundbar into the running board tube by drilling a hole through the whole bar and then putting in a self-tapping screw to hold it in place.
