Anyone installed their Concept front end yet

I have been installing my front end and noticed a problem. My shocks are hitting the mounting brackets on the top side. I already have two gouges in my brand new shocks and they aren't even from riding.:frusty:

I will probably just do a little clearance work on this but just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.

Christopher hasn't been our guinea pig on this yet:face-icon-small-ton

I am seeing the same issue. I haven't yet developed a plan to fix it.

Otherwise, the kit looks and fits great.

I talked to Scott about this. He said that he has seen issues with this on an older subframe. He said that his 2010 does not have this problem. A quarter inch of clearance will give this thing plenty of room so I am not too worried about it. I just wondered if anyone else has had this issue. Scott also said that the Evol also has more clearance than the Float 2.

I don't think this is really a big issue but I just wanted to get this out there so that others know to check on this before they bolt theirs together and chunk up their shocks.

Do you have any pictures that you can post?

Been working install and have parts loosely placed. Not seeing any problem with shock clearance. So far so good. :face-icon-small-hap

Install both sides and see if the clearence issue is exactly the same on both sides, if its not exactly the same then there is a good chance your sub frame is bent. Budd

Both sides are the same. I had both installed before I figured that out. My subframe is not perfectly straight either.

You can see in these pics where the contact is happening. It will only take very minimal clearancing to avoid this.

I do have the 39 inch. Good luck on your install. I am getting very excited to ride. I think the snow show is going to be my death sentence for waiting for snow.
