Im trying to ship a sled out to Hyder but the closest they can get is ketchikan. wanted to see if anyone there is heading to hyder via boat that could take a couple more sleds?

I'm heading through Hyder on my way to Seattle next week. I already have my own sled in the bed of my truck but if you can find a trailer I'll tow it to seattle for you.
I've got a place out there and im trying to get my damn sleds out there. I had some buds driving them out, then that fell through, so I lined up a shipping company, and they want a crap load of money to ship into stewart or hyder. but I can ship to ketchikan fairly easy. just need someone to take them from ketchikan to hyder on their boat or something..

Oh I thought you were trying get it out of hyder. There was a guy on the old forum who lived in Ketchikan and took his boat and sleds to stewart about twice a year...I can't remember his forum name but Dave Craig knows him, maybe ask him. Where is your sled now?
Dave must still be out of town. I cant get ahold of him. I guess im just gonna have to bite the bullet and eat the $$$$ on the shipping. really sux..

iamvector, I wanted and had it all planned out to ship to stewart for a hell of a price, then when it came time to figure up all the damn customs crap with those crazy brokers.. man o man... just didnt make sense.. and ended up they couldnt ship to stewart cause of a bunch of stupid crap and I would have had to end up going to some warehouse to clear customs in vancouver, then clear them again in prince rupert.. it was just a mess. confused the hell out of me. I dont think I got any hair left.
Anyways, I got a company that will ship straight to hyder so no customs crap to deal with, just a raping on the price.
