anyone have pics of gen II triple pipes?

Ninjaplumber's pipes in his pick on the old DIY thread are exactly how mine should lay in there, thanks guys!:):beer;

here is mine. its a 900 ultra but its a trip in a gen 2. htg pipes

Pig, thats exactally what I was explaining how to get them to lay in there! See how the PTO pipe is turned a bit more and brought around the shock tower at the headpipe to pull the expansion chamber more toward the cetner of the sled.

you betcha see what u mean now! Here's plumber's too

that was a clean build!!!!

I still wanna see some of the old tison gen2's with the 1500's in em that had the one pipe completely laid in the nose cone.

those pipes are lynn walters i sold them to ninja when lynn converted to a prox chassis.

I have three gen 2/Tison sleds.One with a 1350 unionbay billet motor,one with a 1500 PSI,and one with a 1720 PSI.The PSI motors have the mag side pipe coming out underneath the center and the pto pipes then wrapping up and over the other pipes. Very clean and as compact as you can get three pipes.I only run mesh hoods on these sleds with no clearance problems.I do use insulated tape from SLP on the underneath side of the hoods anywhere there is less than 3/4" of clearance.(right side of hood in an area about 4"x8")

Got a question that relates to this subject. No one has mentioned running one pipe to the clutch side of the sled. I see Pro-5 does this,is there a reason thats not mentioned here?

Yeah it sucks! Cant change belts, Tons more clutch heat, looks bad and its not practical for some. Ive seen it many times but you wont catch me dead with pipes like that!

Triple Motors

Here are pictures of the 1350 UBR motor and the 1500 & 1720 PSI motors. The 1350 UBR motor has the pipes routed differently then the PSI motors causing the pipes to sit much higher in the chassis. I had to build my own hood due to the increase in pipe height. The 1500 & 1720 both run R&M mesh hoods with no problem. I definately prefer the PSI pipe system due to it's lower profile.

Thanks,

John Stevens

Pipes

Any of you guys remeber the SLP 650 pipes? The PTO pipe laid across the front of the motor just behind the bumper and had a pipe extension that was removable that went to the silencer. That PTO pipe was a little tricky to get out but the removable extension helped.

I found a pic on the old forum i had printed out in my note book. Its a gen2 with chromed pipes, and union bay head, the PTO pipe comes around the shock tower, then the expansion chamber sits totally in the nosecone of the sled and the outlet goes beneeth the mag and center pipes over the shock tower on the right side, it has to be by far the lowest fitting pipes ive ever seen!
