Anyone have an x3 on their axys

I havent seen anyone post about it so just seeing if anyone has put a x3, not 3.2, on their axys. I still liked my x3 on my pro better than the 2.6

Also been thinking about stretching my sled to 162/3. I was worried about the front still being playful so i got a 155. I almost feel like i regret it now

I have ridden an x3 on a belt drive 163" Axys. Had some different clutching as well...worked great, the x3 is just a little noisier and heavier than the 3" Polaris track. Climbed very well on the deep day I rode it...as good or better than the 2.6" I rode back to back.

I know it's not apples to apples, but my 156 X3 layed some smack on a stock 163 (series 4 track) last year. That was fun.


The 155/56 3" tracks are nothing to be ashamed of.

My 156 x3 on the pro was great too. I did have to suck the limit strap up a hair to tame ski lift. Id imagine it will be worse on the axys

I have a x3 162 on my 16 axys and love it. The track spins easier than the 2.6 and works better especially as the snow gets deeper!

What drivers and gearing did u use

I own both... 163x2.6 belt and the chain 163x3. The 2.6 is on silber 5lbs and the 3 is on silber 7 lbs and they flat rip! I like the 2.6 for spring and early season.... Even in powder is does just fine but when you are in the bottomless stuff the 3" shines. Put 700 miles on both set ups this year!

dont confuse the camo X3 and the factory 3" track. Lug height is the only thing they have in common. Different design, paddle layout, durometer, and the polaris factory track is 10lbs lighter. Ive owned both, but never ran the x3 on my axys. Eric

What drivers and gearing did u use

I used the avid 7 tooth center punched drivers and factory gearing and clutching. It worked great for me.
