I honestly didn't have any fooking idea what we were talking about.

DH stands for downhill. Basically take a high travel bike and ride up the chairlifts at ski areas in the summer and ride the trails down. It is a lot of fun.

anyone willing to buy a dh mountain bike in the boise area or may be willing to trade a mountain sled partually for it and i can pay the extra. looking for like a zx chassis or vertical edge or escape older rev. the bike is size medium.
its a sweet bike. i really want a new sled and its so hard at 14 to get one so my dad says i should sell it. its worth $1500 but may go cheaper. please let me know. heres pics.

You might think about trying ridemonkey.com. Whatever you do don't put it on pinkbike.com People there are notorious for ripping other people off, usually because the users of that site are so young. I have first hand experiance on that.

Not half as nice as the other bikes on here, but it's still the best $300 I ever spent...of course now it's got a $300 rear tire/wheel after landing a little sideways on concrete.

I picked up a Nomad this last summer. It ain't the best DH, or the best XC, but I think it is the best all mountain. Fox 5.0 rear, with Lyric 2 step in the front.
Wicked ride, Gonna love riding the mountains this summer.

I have two bikes, one more xc style and one 5" more AM style. I dont have any DH style. I was into it years ago back in Louisiana believe it or not. We'd ride on trails in the swamps. Now that I'm in Cooke I quit riding for years until last summer. We picked it up again as yet another way to stay in shape. Man its great. Going up stuff is incredibly hard but the reward is bombing down.
