Looking for someone who is hating their 163". I have a '12 Pro with a 155" 210 miles, no torn or missing lugs....wanting to find someone to trade me rails and track....Just wanting the extra flotation and climbing ability....Thanks guys

Can't help you there.....
I love mine!!:face-icon-small-hap

Just get some rails extensions from Tracks USA. You can sell your 155 track for about what you can get a low mile 163 track for.

I just did this two weeks ago, best $180 I ever spent.

I don't know if this makes a difference but the 163" tunnel is approximately 4" longer than the 155" tunnel. :shocked:

Just get some straight rails from ice age and buy a camo extreme from tracks usa and you should be better off than the polaris 163. Ice age rails are stronger than the factory rails too.

took a 155 when my 163 was in the shop. Didnt like it one bit. had 12hrs on it! 163 has way better hook up.
163 = ponitac 455
155 = chevy 305

stock 155" rails bend like cheep silverware.... do you realy think 163 rails would hold up? The 155" sleds jump SO good compaired to 163"s it ain't funny. I wish i could run a 144x2.5x16. Problem is i ride my sled like it is a 121 IQR but go places you need a 163". a 155 is the best alternative i can get.

Also, i highly doubt you could go places i couldn't with my 155" assault track, let alone the powder track on the rmk's. You might climb higher on the hill, but if you can ride your sled well, the 8" more of track isn't going to mean you get stuck any more or less.

IMO, a 155 is more fun. But you know what they say about those opinions.

yup 155 went went where my 163 went. only diff was that i didnt have to pin the gas on my 163 to go up a hill.

so general consensus is that if your looking to boondock, tree ride, and or jump a 155 is a better solution because of the shorter rails are more durable? But if ur looking to hill climb the 163 is the obvious option?. I am only asking because i am going to get a new pro but can't make up my mind on a 163 vs 155. i enjoy mostly tree riding but i really don't enjoy being the low guy on the hill because i didn't have enough power or track to get me up higher. So for a guy who loves tree riding and boondocking but want to still climb with everyone else who has more power what would everyone recommend?

I have a 155 and love it! I tree ride ,boondock, climb, jumb, and have a blast! I ride with a few 163 and go anywhere they go and more. Its the rider. you wanna just go straight up with less effort yeah 163, but when I do it on my 155 thats skill! you will have a blast either one!

just remember guys. it wasn't very long ago when an 800 that maid 130 hp and had a 144" track was a BAD *** sled! Our worst 150+ inch sleds still climb WAY higher than those sleds did.
