Anyone had a track "repaired"

I have a 144x15x2 track for my RMK that I just bought for quite cheap, but is missing about 10 lugs...I've been looking at sending it off to get it repaired and be good as new. Anyone ever had this done? How much did it cost? Were you happy with it? Most places I see are saying "Starting at $75" and considering I paid $50 for it, that doesn't sound like a bad deal.

Its been like 5 years or so, but I had one done by a guy in Roberts or Dubois or something in eastern Idaho. He did a great job and it held together well. I can't remember what I paid or what his name was though. If I remember right, the equipment he used was Carol Tech or something like that. I'll try and remember his name and post it if I do.

You can glue it yourself with the same glue they use on commercial conveyor belts.

Sme people use E-6000 ... an arts and craft glue.

Yeah the Carol Tech method is what I'm seing advertized...good to know it held up. Thanks for the input. :beer;

yeah, this stuff's cool. I've used a lot of industrial adhesives over the years, and this is by far the best (And easiest to obtain) for most applications. Dries strong yet stays flexible.

I sent one to a guy in Manitoba for repair. After 3 years still don't have it back, it was new with only 21 miles on it. Keep getting excuses, :mad:I'm now just trying to get it back, will send to Carrol Tech guy in the US when I get it back.
