Anyone got their engine seized after belt exploded under load ?

A simpler way of finding help / answers might be for you to tell us what happened with your situation.

Typically, a violent full load belt failure leads to two potential problems:
1- crank stub snaps off.
2- crank shaft is thrown out of phase, left with excessive runout.

I would not expect belt failure to have any adverse effect on the top end, so if your engine is now locked up, my guess is that the problem lies in the crank shaft / crank shaft bearings.
 
X2 Or it happened the other way around? Had belt explode and no failure,one crank failure,one seize no belt damage...what is the rest of the story?
