Anyone got a Silber Turbo on their Pro yet?

Yes we HAD the same issue.
It is fixed, and wont require any updates.
Thanks
Justin

Hats off to you!! I know many builders have been struggling with this. If you have gotten it right that is awesome! Looking forward to hearing feedback from your customers. Should be some happy turbo riders.

Out of curiosity, what will your kits need to run fuel wise?? I like to run between 8 and 10 lbs of boost. Would it be something like a 30/70 mix or 50/50 mix of pump and race? 100% av gas? Ethanol plug/fuel?? Just wondering what to expect or what you suggest with the fuel.

What elevation are you running at?

is there any chance anyone will make a kit with modern total stand alone electronics with a mass air sensor and true O2 sensor and perhaps motec electronics that will compensate for altitude perfectly just like all the modern automotive kits out there that run flawlessly? I would order a kit in a heartbeat if it could give me 8-10 psi with 3500 or less engagement with ZERO issues and blubering. Even if it was in the 7-8000.00+ range for a "flawless" kit it would be worth it. Figure a mod motor triple runs 10,000+ so a turbo kit in the same price range is aOK BUT true perfection would be expected in the electronic department. The real answer here is to totally eliminate the entire factory harness/sensors ect and just offer a total replacement package.
Yeah I know,I know to much $$$ to work out for such a limited market....but it really would be a nice deal. Just want a kit like i've bought for my various cars, open box, easy bolt on,start, yipppeeeee.....runs perfect zero issues no tuning on my part..15 psi insane low end no problems,no blubbering,no adjusting just nice factory seemless power....:face-icon-small-coo:face-icon-small-coo

You should PM supraturbo on here, he is running a stand alone fuel mgmt system on his sled. However, he is not making them for the masses. You might be able to pick his brain though.

A closed loop system would be very difficult on a 2 stroke... this is why even the super sophisticated systems like the E-Tek are speed-densisity systems.

It sure would be nice though.

Justin... the sled in those pictures is obviously NOT an Assault! Please explain! :face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-win

Thanks for grabbing that thing for me and I'll give you a ring tonight.

Do they come standard cermamic coated or did you do that extra?

Should be a sweet ride Hobbes! You wont want to ride that Tapex as much after some seat time on your boosted Pro. :face-icon-small-win

As far as Im concern last time I talked to him he was very close to having one ready for the m's and was about to start working on one for his turbo d8.
He never told me his objective was to keep it a secret but he will wait to have a perfect product to sell before shipping it (if he succeed!), since we but live in the same area and that we are pretty much at sea level I can tell you it's a pain to always play with the fuel controller especially since our temperatures go from like 0 cielsius to -35 cielsus which make a BIG difference in air density.

Maybe when this will be figured out I will turbo my pro :face-icon-small-win

Makes me think that someday I just might turbo a 2 stroke. But for now ill ride a reliable 4 stroke. Definatly watch these threads tho

instead working on more"hp" how about looking for a good exhaust solution? some turbo kits are really to loud.

Yes, this would be nice. I keep trying to think of a way to quiet my sled down but there usually is limited room/space for a muffler. I like OVS's quiet muffler but I'm not sure about the side dump exit - didn't work so well carving on the MAG side on my TM6 (their Dynatech muffler side exit - LOUD). Justin has bullet style mufflers for some of his kits to help with the sound as well.

It will be hard to find the best of both worlds - quiet db levels and great performance without bogging.

If you have any ideas, post them up.

Too Loud? You're missing the point fellas. If we can figure out a way to add enough HP, then we can travel faster than the noise from the exhaust, thus eliminating the problem!:face-icon-small-hap
