Just curious if anyone went riding today and how it was. Doesnt look to be any real new snow since last weekend....

Post up the pics if you went.:D

I might have gone up last night :) Nothing worth going up for yet except test and tune rides.
Probably about 16" at the cabin at Gaywater. Bring your rock skis.

Stampede Pass today, Road Ride with the kids. Beautiful weather, about 2' of fresh snow. Only once did we see anyone on the roads. Just at the base, and the tower. We stayed between the tower and above Lost lake on the backside. When we left at 3pm, it seemed like most of the spur roads on the backside were still untouched.

However my 9yr old son is driving his own sled this year (340 puma) and by his count he got stuck about 10 times. So it's:beer;:beer;:beer;time!

Greenwater

Went up to Greenwater this morning. Arrived about 10:30. Parked and rode from the "normal" snowpark. I didnt chain ( I have studs) but some people did chain up for piece of mind. Some icy spots on the way up and back down. The road up to the cabin was 99% covered, that was to be expected. Plenty of good snow to do a road ride. It was the girlfriends first day riding a sled. She did great!! There was about 20 sleds in and around the cabin and meadow. There was alot of jeep traffic today. Seemed to be more Jeeps than sleds actually.

Went up to s********k today, SICK!!!!!!!!!! first ones up, 2ft of pow since last sun, sunshine! temps high teens. Would have been a good day for february. Base has hardned up enough that I was actualy able to boondock around abit, had to be careful tho... Unfortunatly my camera died the moment I took it out! Enjoy Tomorrow :)

Great to hear those of you that got up to ride and test out the sleds for this year but hate to be the grinch but snow levels rising up to 6 thousand feet and rain at the passes and low to mid forties the first part of next week. Enjoy tomorrow!

Went to Glacier Creek

Was a great road ride, not enought to explore to much. Was a decent amount of snow on the road, had to park a ways above the gravel pit. A bunch of snowboarders and skiers where having fun between the saplings. Maybe Canyon Creek tomorrow morning.:face-icon-small-hap
