Anyone go to the Edmonton sled show?

Thought they put on a stellar show, lots of cool toys to check out and some knowledgable people to chat with. Got a decent deal on a trailer I wanted! Only gripe I had was the old guys at Absolute Power and Performance wouldn't give me the time of day when I was checking out there stuff, but young guys don't have money to spend anyways:rolleyes:
 
Went to the show friday night, busy busy busy, ended up parking by Eastglen. After parking and walking back to the Agicom, we walked past the truck we were behind on 118th trying to get into the parking lot, he only moved about 50 feet!!! My son got somewhat of a deal on some Snow Eliminators and an adjustable steering post for his M8 from Dons Arctic Cat. I really liked the new Snow Pulse avalanche air bags, anyone want a good deal on an ABS escape 30?
 
Made it to the show Sat, 1.5 hrs in the vehicle,.5 hr in line for tickets, wife 2 kids, anyways... Got a one pc suit for my 6yr old, some looks form he wife when one of our "waitresse's" from Mcbride came over to chat! Great to see SLP up for the show! Dustin & Jerry too busy to talk to. Ken D's stuff @ Mtn Machines always gets a close look over! Nice workmanship & willing to talk to you if you even if you know what you are talking about! Not like the "Ken" down the row, who tends to look for the next victum... Chad's stuff & workmanship always stands out! I guess that's why I run it! Hade to cut it short with the family, but I thought one of the best shows ever...

who sells these mats??

can you guys remember who was selling those black rubber mats that you would put on your trailer floor.?? they looked like they were ribbed and about 6 inch wide x 12 inch long and were used to protect the floor and provide traction when loading and unloading your sled.

I don't know who the vendor was, but I think they were on the west side of the building near the guy selling tailer security systems. or near the magic sleds booth..
I wanna buy some of them after thinking about it, but don't know who sells them.
 
Was pretty happy with the show, of course hard to find a helmet in my size but eventully did fine one! One complaint was my buddy HAD to bring his GF who of course wants to leave so soon :( Ran out of time and didn't buy any boots or gloves as I had hoped to.

i planned on buying stuff to, untill i seen that god awfull line up.

Jarrett @ Absolute Power is a very nice personal guy. They were so busy I had to wait to talk to him. His dad (only guy over 40) was also helping out and friend Dave with BoostWorx's. Your statment is unwarranted !!!!!!

I agree with T-BO. I stopped by there and they wouldnt give me the time of day. But hey.......its not like a single, 28 year old guy is going to spend any money on sled stuff so they were probably right to ignore me.;)
 
Great show,,, amazing sleds and stuff,,, bling , bling ., bling,,, Absolute power, Quantum Velocity, Alpine,,Awesome mod sleds,, great crowds,,, really had a fun time...
