Anyone go to the Edmonton sled show?

I wish I could go... sitting in a high rise in downtown Toronto!

The Toronto has a HUGE show too bad most of it is short track! The do have ramp tramps putting on a cool show tho!

lets see some pics!

I went yesterday, it was pretty good. It was a lot bigger this year, they had two halls full. Like always there was some pretty sweet deals on riding gear.

really?

I went yesterday, it was pretty good. It was a lot bigger this year, they had two halls full. Like always there was some pretty sweet deals on riding gear.

I thought just the opposite
everything for gear was pretty close to or at regular dealer price. Seems a few years back there was good deals on year old stuff but not this year.
bought a pair of altimate supersports for 189.00 plus 5% gst

and alot of the booths were jammed with stuff for sale, looked pretty cluttered.
The entire martin eq section looked like a tornado ran through it.

not very good bargains on much of anything.

and man was it packed.

ya i thought the same. went friday rite at the start an nothing really any cheaper that i coulda bought all year so didnt bother standing in line for ever to buy clothes. some sweet turbos and wat not to look at but nothing real special about it

Lots of sweet mod sleds on display (got boost?) and lots of merchandise for sale but like others said, little to no bargains. I BSed with a few people I knew, walked around and checked out the sleds but I didn't buy anything partswise since I couldn't seem to find any decent deals. Looks like my favorite dealer is gonna get more of my business:).

Oh and Celien Dion (sp?) can go f*ck herself. Trying to get to the agricom was a PITA:face-icon-small-dis. The yellowhead was backed up for a looong ways.

I went today and I agree about the prices. I did a little negotiating and got the prices down a little, but it was on stuff I'd have bought anyway. Sure where a lot of people there.

I thought the show was awesome!! Talked to the Fernie guy about ride areas, spoke with Curtis about Valemount. Walked through some kick-*** over priced trailers. It was 2 halls and yes the Martin setup looked busy. didnt bother going in there.
Some of the sled-mod young sales guys were douche-bags when trying to 'look' at their stuff, but other than that it was an awesome show!
And thats even with $10 to park and $10 to get in.

I bought a Voile shovel wtih probe in handle for $85 bones and bought a trail map for Fernie and Crowsnest pass.

I was disapointed though that no one was selling HMK jackets.

packed, packed, and jam packed.lots of nice scenery though.

bought a bd pump gas kit fri night for the 09 m8 sno pro that i intended to get on saterday.i went to the dealer and the deal went sour,"it's a long story" and now i have a turbo and a boss seat with shovel pouch for sale.

new never installed.
-bd bump gas turbo $5250 bought at dons speed parts booth
-boss seat w/sh pouch $600

i give up easy i guess, and i don't like getting the run around.i bought it because it was the only bd kit there at the show and for that price.dons speed parts bought the kit in sept when the cdn dolor was up.any kits ordered from now on will be 20% more unless the dolor rises.

Getting in was crazy, long wait in line to drive in and another wait in line to get tickets purchased.

Good show, getting better all the time. Saw some great sleds with Titanium bits and carbon fiber, works of art for some. New this year, SLP came up which was great to see.

CR Racing had Randy Swenson's newest sled on display, a 300hp Nytro on propane. As always a work of art by CR Racing.

Low point of the show, Veedy sold out of the few Boost 3 DVD's he had.

I liked the show and as others have said, no real deals to be found, just what seemed to be evryday pricing.

Attached a picture of Randy's new sled (phone cam pic = crappy quality) but all I had.

I thought it was good.

the show sucked. imo

Not sure what more you would want, it had a lot to show.

I was shopping for a helmet, not one I liked, and not too many would fit MARCUSO's Square head. Poor selection.

All the Klim gear was 10% off. Got a pair of gloves, socks, Bought some superglides at a good deal, a pair of billet 8" wheels for 65 bucks, and a bunch of other stuff.

Kinda disappointed that veedy had no DVD's left.

There were some sweet machines there, I really liked Randy's new Nytro, Mountain Magic had a couple of sweet machines, I liked the REV the best.
Specialty, had nothing too fantastic except for the bike and turbos on the revs.

Good to see some new booths there, CR, Rat, CVtech and a lot of others.

A lot of the Expensive guys were still the same, but if you looked around, you could find some deals.

Saw a lot of good peeps too. I think it was a great show.
