Anyone go to Monte today?

I didn't but I looked up the snotel and it claims there is 35 inches. Probably be worth going if you could get up the main road. Look on udot traffic cameras in the day time and there is a camera of monte's parking lot.

UDOT camera NOT working up there for sometime.
Maybe take a drive up there and see how the road looks tomorrow. I will take some pictures.
BTW the pictures will be just visual since the 2013 Paper weight Pro can not be ridden till the drive shaft gets its band-aid collar.

We will be running our clamps on Wednesday if you are interested check them out on Facebook . They are strong and well balanced.

I drought that there is enough on the road to ride but it will get me out and exploring on foot.
Thanks but I have the Happy Face one on order and on its way. Difficult to know who is making a collar anymore. Sorry big topic right now.
I will say thank you for ALL the companies that stepped up to the plate.
Triple SS is also getting me in asap when they get there new stock in.

Polaris needs to solve this problem fast or I bet a lot of 2013 pros will be for sale in the near future. Band-aids do not fix a wound that need stitches.
Back on topic because there is nothing I can do but be patient.

I went up there tonight and rode the road. Pretty thin out of the parking lot but once you get. About a mile up the road its pretty dang good. If it gets warm you wont be able to ride from the parking lot though. Once near the top you could get off the road and play a little. We put on about 35 miles tonight. Good start at breaking in the new sled.

Just got back from the hike. At the gate there was about 3" up higher it got to be more. Need more snow down lower and/or the trail sleds to pack the road down. Saw the silver Dodge you guys must have been the Red Pro and the yellow Black Ski Doo.

My brother went up there today. He said toward the parking lot the snow was thin on the road to where your scrap every so often. He said higher altitudes where nice and deep, but with no real base.

I was on the green Cat, asked if you were alright :face-icon-small-hap. Snow was good up top but the fog killed us.

Was the fog so thick you could cut it?
It gets bad up there, sometimes you have to go from road marker to road marker to get out.

Rode on 12/13 and there was minimal snow at the parking lot, but once you got past the first big curve there was enough on the road that the carbides didn't hit pavement any more. When we came back the groomer had been out for the first mile or so to pack things down. Not sure whether this helped or hurt... Groomer had not been up high (as of 2:00 PM on 12/13 anyway).

Anyway, we were pleasantly surprised at how much snow there was up top. Rode 65 miles (breaking in new sled) and did a fair amount of boondocking and climbing and I only ticked one rock on a windblown ridge. Another honest 12" up high and at least 6" inches at the parking lot and the riding should be pretty good.

Anyone going saturday or sunday?
Gotta get some more miles on the pro and see how the HF Pro Clamp works.
