Anyone Ever Had This Problem?

There is a bearing retainer with three bolts on both sides. If you have the bottom gear off you should be able to see the one in the chaincase and the other is right under the driven clutch. Once those are off just slide the driveshaft to one side and drop it out.

Loosen the axle bolts on the rear axle and loosen the track.
take out the rear suspention mount bolts, then the front, slide the skid out the side.
with the bearing retainer bolts out, slide the front axle towards the chaincase side, working it past the track nubs.
drop the clutch side down and take it out.
the bearing will have a lock collar that you tape to raotate and loosen the bearing.
when you put it back in, slide the axle towards the chaincase side and lift into the clutch side.
fasten the chaincase side making sure to replace the o-ring that works as a seal for the bearing.
then slide the bearing tight to the retainer at the tunnel and tighten the collar, then bolt up the bearing retainer.
Bolt up the front of the skid, put a block (4x4 if you have one) under the track dirrectly under the front shock mount.
Lower the tunnel and the rear mounts will line up and tighten them in. Adjust the track and tighten the rear axle.
finish the rest of the chaincase a assembly.

FWIW my buddy used to have an... 03 I believe King Kat and one day we were out riding and it started ratcheting like a mofo. Checked all the usual stuff, nothing seemed wrong so we got to looking closer and found the 2 bolts for the front upper mount of the skid had sheared off, so anytime he got on the throttle the front of the skid was compressing like crazy and allowing the sled to ratchet. Another thing worth checking.
