I have been trouble shooting my 04 800 rev with no spark. Stator puts out 3 volts AC between all 3 wires. and I am getting voltage out of the regulator, but nothing at the coil wires. Would the pick-up coils cause this? or could the MPEM be bad?? such an expensive part to buy and try without any testing. Just wondering if anyone has had problems with this part. I appreciate any input.

You could check for some kind of voltage from MPEM to Coil Pack's.

I did check the two wires going into the coil, and I have 0 volts when being pulled over.
It was the MPEM, tried a buddies DESS and MPEM. and she fired right up. Lots of headaches to figure this one out. Thanks to those who responded.
You might try plugging your old one back in. Sometimes it's just moisture or a bad connection.
