Anyone else lose the factory skidplate off of their Nytro???

I am glad they are only $25, but it still sucks. I can only think of one thing I hit that day, and after that I had major belt slipping issues. I opened my sidepanel and could see the ground!!!! I don't know if it ripped off whole, or shattered, but it was totally gone!!!!!

Just a rock, not even very hard!!!! Must have been enough to break the cheap plastic fasteners, I guess!!!!!

Just did the exact same thing last weekend. Fasteners and all were totally gone. Now I can't get a new one cause its back ordered til Mar3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder if your dealer installed them wrong. The one I saw installed, had to be drilled for the stock bolts to go through. For it to come off, it would have had to break bolts, or bolts pull through.

I have heard of an icing problem on the bottom of the MTX's popping after market skid plates off, maybe the same issue with the factory ones?

Mine had popped three of the 4 plastic dart things when I went to install my skid plate. There was a significant build up of ice under it - I hadn't hit anything at that point. Geno - Pretty sure they are only supposed to be held onwith the 4 plastic dart things from the factory.
