Anyone else have this Happen!!

I posted here about my buddies sled over New years that something happen and just found out today that it lost a rod bearing and dealer told him they will not beable to get a new short block until feb. 2. The dealership seems to be doing everything they can ( even said that he can use there demo if not ready for his next trip) but out of there hands nothing ready from the plant. I thought that i had read on here that someone else had lost a rod bearing? He had about a 650 miles on it and it had ran great up till then.

There has been a small amount of crank problems. not enough to say its a issue. The cranks are great on them!!!!!!!!!

Good to hear this is the only one I have seen personally that has gone down mine runs great!!!, buddy got some good news I think they are shipping him a motor today!!!!!

Same crankshaft as the previous model 800 Dragon CFi cranks... they are not a problematic crankshaft.

Can I have one for my 04 800 RMK. You wonder if they have used the same crank shaft since 2000. never compared them side by side. Mine broke at 742 miles. When new .peeled and cracked some nicasil on the cylinders scored a piston. I found that out the next season when I decided to have the big bearing kit put in. The Honda Shop in Lewistown,Mt I think just dropped in a new crank without checking the rest of the engine. I was more then a little p---ed off. Great customer service.
