Anyone else get a kick out of Biker toughness?

I've got a couple buddies that ride with the HA's...They are some of the best guys I've made friends with. These guys are straight shooters like myself. Any time I need their help they are there...I have had to make that call once.

They are good guys, and don't play the wanna be biker. They ride with pride and respect and don't bother you unless you are bothering them.

oh ya ..here we go ....weird as it sounds ..but I can't fawkin stand these wanna be posin little pricks ..used to be a time when bikers were bad azz dudes ...used to hang with lots of em and still know lots of guys that would beat the doctor right out of these new found ...hip to be cool .....glossy boot bandanna wearing everythin HD posers...

I gotta deal with these dinks on a highway thats barely wide enough for me in places ...and these wanna be tough guys are ridin 2 wide up the alaska highway .........I see em stopped at truck stops all puffed up ..

I don't trust these guys as far as I could throw em ..I seen and scraped more of these holiday warriors off the ground than I tend to admit ....

when they come at me with their we own the road attitude ...I just move over another 10 inches and show em who really owns the road ....down south is a different thing all together and I don't care.....up here ride right or get killed

just pizzes me off cuz every time one of these closet biker pricks piles up the road gets closed and I gotta wait 10 hours for the meat wagon and cops to clean everything up

rant over

Rant starting; You bet there are some new inexperienced riders on the road. Duh. But IMO there's even more inexperienced truck drivers trying to make a living. Good on em. Hopefully they don't all have the same ****ty self-absorbed attitude that you constantly display on this 4m. For you to be beaking off about the attitude ofany biker, new or otherwise is extremely laughable. We "riders of motorcycles" get to see first hand that same "I'm in a truck so I'm safe" attitude and put up with some of the most bull**** driving habits of an awful lot of so called proffessional drivers. Spare us your bull****, we'll put up with you guys trying to pass each other on the only friggin passing lane for 100 miles cause your rig can go 2 miles per hour faster than the other guy or you flying by at mach 10 on every downhill and then bogging the road up at 45 mph at every uphill.
The world works both ways bud, you're nothing special, so get over yourself.

PS, I don't wear a bandanna and my boots ain't glossy.

then you are an exception to the rule good for you

lemme sum it up for real quick ..these pricks that blast by me when the goin is good and stop 4 wide around a blind corner to look at another Moose need there heads examined period

they put their lives and everybody elses lives on the line because these guys come from LA and never seen wildlife before ....

you ever riden up here before ???

like I said the down south deal is completly different ....

riding on a road 20 feet wide on gravel Alaska Highway means that you could pile up real quick .....and when I see these guys comin at me ...I slow down to 15 miles an hour so that they don't get their faces showered with rocks ....not like 95% of the other Alberta/BC truckers who come up here and infest our road during the summer ....never seen them *******s up here in the winter.......

Sound to me like it's not the biker with the road attitude. You hit a biker and you get a scratched truck and the inconvienence of some paperwork to fill out while the biker on the other hand is dead or seriously injuried. I've had the finger shown to me a few times and I might have deserved it. If a biker gives it to you, think about it.

you guys just don't get it ....these pompass dinks who have never been on the highway ....so they don't know the road ride like us regulars do ....then ya come around a corner and they are all piled up ...

the portion of the hiway I am refferin to is the piece from Fort Nelson to Liard Hot springs

the rest is fine and wide enough ....they don't even bother me .

soo thats what I am talkin about ....the rest of the planet with exception to the Dempster is fine

not hating the bikers per say ...got lots of trucker /bikers that are my good friends ...I am talkin about the midlife ....going to Alaska pricks.....

never had a biker give me the finger ......I usualy get a wave down low

theres a big difference between guys like you that know what they are doing and the nubes

Dont even get me started on the mothertruckers passin through Idaho. I think they should have to drive on their OWN road instead of the public interstates and byways. They can bring out the road rage in the pope! Oh Im sure there are some instances when joe dumba$$ cuts them off and does stupid crap, but my experience with truckers hasnt been at all good, whether on summer days holding up traffic doin the "trucker race" 1/2 mph faster than the trucker they are passing for a 10 mile stretch or in the middle of winter when their trucks NEVER slide off the road or bury non-truckers with slush and snow cuz they are "trying to make a buck" by driving way faster than conditions permit. Dont get me wrong here Im sure we need truckers to get things from here to there, but dang have some respect for the little cars and bikers out there. We dont have a choice but to respect you.

I'm sure its a repost but I got a little chuckle out of it -

All bikes are cool. Just like sleds, dont matter what you ride as long as you do. Im not a HD fan and i just got out of the Sport Bike scene. I like the sound of Harleys.. to me its like the sound of a F-15 with the afterburners on! one of my favorite sounds. :D imo. anyway, i've talked with more arrogant lifted truck owners then motorcycle riders seems like.

Last night was out riding the horse along the hiway cause it just rained and was too wet in the fields. Well there is a stretch about 100 yards long between sloughs that you have to ride on the hiway go get around. As i am approaching it i hear this bike off in the distance so i just take my time until he get there because i didn't want to meet him on the road with no where to go. I finally see him up ahead hauling a$$ down the hill and i know he has to see me cause i am right beside the road. The horse also sees him to cause he has some fricken loud a$$ pipes on it, which i still think sounded good, but he does not slow down one bit, like he didn't even acknowledge me and just goes flying by like i wasn't even there. Needless to say the hores was freaking **** and trying to run away with me on there. You would think people would have a little respect for others........

Its not about judging, its about finding the midlife tough guy crisis amusing.:D

Was that the algona rally? If so that is a pretty hard core crowd...for the christs sake Sons of Silence is security!

I would agree that there is a select few that have the super cool "wannabe" biker vision they are trying to portray..No different than any other sport out there..

on a little different tangant:

I challenge anybody on this forum to come to sturgis and go to the full throttle, buffalo chip, or glenco and observe bikers for a little while. You will soon see that they are very nice people just like you and me that love the passion of riding the ride much like we do the snow. If you really want to meet some upstanding guys I would be willing to give you a tour of the local HA's chapter campground..so that you can understand the concept of friends and family.
Bikers contribute more donation money to non-profit orgs. than another other group of people.

Another thing, just because of what you have heard about certian bike gangs doesnt make it true.. The HA,SOS,FH,BAN,ect. have great respect for bikers, just dont disrespect their ground or friends and you will be ok ;)

If you really want to see some biker pricks......................... they ride fancy bikes and wear yellow shirts :P.. hahah <<<name that so called biker gang..

Ohh and yes my bike has load pipes.. FLUCKN deal with it you vags.. I dont biotch about you guys running your mouth in public (which to most is much more annoying )... haha :D

Sure they are, and the tooth fairy is real. OMG's are no good, period!!........unless you like to commit violent crimes then I suppose they are OK.

Knight are you an Angel?

I agree most Outlaw clubs are great folks...just a few ideas, etc that I may not agree with kinda like the SOS and the freedom of personal choice no matter what. At some point personal choice is over ridden, say rape, etc. I know that's extreme, but I think you kinda get my point. But to each his own.

Uptanding guys, are you nuts!!!!?? Upstanding at commiting felonies I suppose. Hells Angels and other OMG"s are Criminal Organizations. Do you not remember the shooting that took place during Sturgis last year?? You have some serious problems if you thinK the Hells Angels are upstanding guys. I need to learn the concept of friends and family from drug addicts and people that carry hammers with them because they are so against violence. Give me a break!!

They are friendly if you are in the gang (like most gangs btw), if not, well, that is what the hammer is for.

I'd say friendly as long as you let them be. I know lots of "rednecks" who are the same way without flying colors.

Hell the president of hells outcasts i knew, when he died, the president of the MN Angels chapter rode up for the funeral(that was heavily attended by Outcasts) and had no troubles at all.
