Anyone else get a 1 year warranty?

I just got a notice that my warranty is up at the end of January. I am not pissed really and they are giving me the option of extending it up to 5 years, but my first thought was "Now I can make this thing run like it should!"
Anyone else get the same notice? My dad has a four year snowcheck warranty on his...

yea if you stuck with the regular warranty the first year is bumper to bumper, the second is just powertrain unless you extend your bumper to bumper... if you got a decent amount of miles on it last year i would just leave it and start putting on your mods :face-icon-small-coo

A mail order company sends the end of the warranty form out, Buy this warranty with this form but it cuts the dealer out of selling it to you for maybe less then what the warranty form says if you have any ?'s pm me

That makes sense, I put about 500 miles on it last winter, but thats because I got it in January and had to cut the riding season short, my last ride was in March!

I think I am just going to start with the fun :face-icon-small-hap

Just got the same letter.....thought I had a 2 year warranty :face-icon-small-con.......guess not.....not sure how long I'll extend it but definitely want to continue the warranty.

Personally for what they are asking and what I like to do, I don't think it is worth it. Hoping if I mess something up it wont be more than the 1200 they want for the 2 extra years!

check with your dealer, I got the same notices(3 times now) but mine does have, and it shows on the dealer network that it does indeed have the 4 yr warranty...on the 11's polaristar wouldnt do a 4 yr warranty on the 8's so polaris did the coverage inhouse(or so I have been told), now polaristar is tryin to recoup some of those policies.....

Yeah, I have the same issue. My Dealer told me that it's a "marketing error" and that my 4 year warranty is correctly setup on the Polaris web-site, and is in force.

Gents, this is a third party who has your name, sled model, and model year thanks to Polaris, they have no idea what warranty deal you may have in place now beyond the OEM one year. They want your coin. They are marketing. You'll keep getting them.

Exactly, I have contacted my dealer when I received my first letter, but was informed by the dealer, I still have another year left (as I opted for the cash and 2 year warranty), and it is a 3rd party company sending these notices.

I was told the same thing by my dealer, just throw the notice in the trash ,I check the mail today and had another one, I think it's the forth one so far.
Is their a way to stop them from being sent ?
