The Cascade groomer couldn't make it to Deer Creek past Anderson Creek. Lots of snow. Lots of sliding. Check out the avalanche advisory before you go www.payetteavalanche.org/advisory/ before you go out. We had people stuck between Burgdorf Hot Springs and Francis Wallace Parking lot for almost 8 hours trying to work their way through drifts on Warren Wagon Road.

I rode there yesterday. So deep you couldn't really do anything. 3/4 throttle at 7500 rpm just to ride the road. If you stop without some planning you will be stuck. The frosted wet layer of snow over night may have helped, but it also snowed more so it will be really challenging riding until the snow settles.
The avalanche danger is off the charts, don't try to climb anything! This heavy wet snow on top of the 2-3 feet of light fluffly snow is as bad as it gets.
The road was still not groomed. This pisses me off, same BS every year with a new excuse every time.
So anyone ride west mt today? How was it? Planning on going tomorrow. Mostly tuning and making sure the iqr I just picked up is good to go.

According to the groomers report online they still havn't groomed the road up west mountain. So I went to above brundage today, what a difference a day makes. The snow has settled so that you can have some fun now. Unless they groom tonight going up west mountain it will be a rutted bumpy mess tomorrow, but all the snow you will want up top.
saturday the 21st west mtn road was rough, once on top it was like riding in bottomless sticky mashed potatoes. was a good ride just very exausting.
vince its michael... jareds buddy. rode with you alot last year. hows the iqr.? we were supposed to meet up with you yesterday but my sled was having problems.
