curious to the rear suspension changes made to make the weight transfer better and steering effort less than the 09's?

did they relocate the skid, change the rails, front shock spring, valving, rear shock valving????

trying to see if i can make mine better out of the box. ski

anyone?

debating the holz revalve and upgrade (their website appears down). or the fox burandt upgrade, or something that someone else may have had experience with (andy??)

looking for a more trail friendly, more weight transfer, less ski pressure, less trenching type of set up. ski

I read somewhere that the newer floats on the '10s have a larger air cell. Kind of like adding a canister. Not sure if this is accurate though

Well The front shocks are still the First generation Floats, and I imagine the rear is also the first gen float with the zero pro coil over. Not sure if they changed the valving at all. I upgraded my front shocks to the Fox Float 2's

The Burandt rear suspension upgrade sounds very nice, it is about $300.00 installed. I would like to hear some feedback on it before thinking about installing it. I upgraded my 06 M7 with the float setup and really like it, I will have to ride my 2010 M8 before thinking about an upgrade for the rear. It would be nice to have something that performs like the Float 2's in the rear of the sled.

i think i have the front shocks i have covered. i bought a set of fox float X (non evols). better than regular floats from opinions. my main concern is the lumber wagon trail ride people complain of, and the lack of rear skid transfer.

i hate a heavy feeling hard to turn front end. hoping to avoid this as well. ski

i just did the float 2 upgrade and the chris burandt upgrade for the rear will report back on them next week after i ride.

gas and go

curious if you have any seat time on your new sled yet? My '05 M
handles great, especially after leaving a Gen 2 Polaris. After getting off
your Yamaha last year I think you'll be happy with the way yours handles as well.

I could be way out in left field, it wouldn't be the first time, but I think that most dealers give the rear shock to much air. I am down to about 105 psi and ride pretty agressive and don't feel like it is bottoming out, plus I think it transfers pretty well.
