I've had a few bikes and the 450X is the best trail bike ive ever been on, tons of power at low RPMs that the race bikes will never have...

How bout a 450x with an R Cam? Buddy of mine did that and swears by it.

i never rode one with that mod, its safe to say the gearing is what makes the X an animal at low RPMs...its sweet how the X crawls up stuff and lets you slow down a bit to get around truck sized rocks.....the race bikes cant do that, you need 8,000 RPM just to get a race bike off the trailer:face-icon-small-hap

Casey, I would expect nothing less from a guy that drinks Fruity Tooty Beer. LMFAO
BTW: Thanks for the invite. Now get busy and find me a 450.;):beer;

The heavy flywheel on the X is the biggest reason it crawls better than an R model.
The R's do ok, but my clutch gets hot in the tight stuff.

I could MAYBE do thursday night... Its a long drive though.
I am free friday however.

I won't be around this Thurs. but starting next week we'll try to ride once if not twice a week. I have an extra 250XR if anybody ever needs one.;)

Well Thanks Marc

Too bad we didn't have a bigger crew. Just kidding. What a azz kick of a ride. Really didn't know if I was going to make it. Never been so beat or muddy coming off the hill.
Spent more money at the car wash than I did on fuel for the truck and bike.
Did you notice we were the only dumb ones on the mountain. hahaha
Thanks for the torture session on my new addition to the bike family.:face-icon-small-win
Next ride will be dry.:D
Here are the only photos I could snap.

Not too bad yet.

I like your new bike. What color is it again?:o

Way to break er in. I'm glad your home and not sittin in the mud.

I don't get it:confused:
New addition to the family and you can barely see the front of her in the first pic.
Your new ride is the dark one with the reins right?;)

Well Killerk, sense I had to stay home this trip the boys didn't get very good pictures.;) Always cutting off the heads of the important ones.:( Looks like they were to busy to playing in the mud to really concentrate on the camera.

Mike, I would have traded that guy rides in heart beat. LMAO
Bet he never fell in the mud.

Yah, it looks like it was pretty sloppy.
What rear tire is that? It looks similar to a terra flex... It isn't though... Is it?

Its starting to dry out up at FB... Still some snow and mud though.
I took the 450 up but didn't even unload it:(
I did get to the top on the foreman 4x4... Still some drifts and snow on the high elevation ridges.
I passed a guy on a polaris atv that said he was stuck in a drift for an hour and a half... I saw where he got stuck, and I made it no problem... Then I get up top and run into a family in a SXS... Not sure how they made it:confused:
I lowered the air pressures and stayed out of the ruts and somehow stayed on top of the soft snow.

Yep, Terra Flex. Their a little BEEFY eh?
Apparently there is a Chinese and American made version. Chinese falls apart and American last damn near forever.
