anybody running a union bay billet 1140 on there 900?

I think Anthony Oberti had one of the first installs on his 05.....then he wrecked it for the camera....
It was a sick climb to say the least....
I don't think he rebuilt it after that.

I did! Starting to look for some other parts now. My sled is ready for this season, so this will be for next year. If this really is the only one out there, maybe it needs a build thread?

LUCKY!!!

i really started to consider this..bu cant get the cash for a bit yet..

so....whats your plans with your 975 you have now ;)

thanks, LOL. I love the 975. I've been beating on it for three years, spraying it with nitrous, discovering air leaks after it ran with it for who knows how long, running water through the engine, even running it on pump fuel before I wised up, and it won't stop running..lol. I'll run it this year and then give it the attention it deserves with a rebuild, then what.. not sure. I won't use parts off it for the 1140 build. As for that, I've wanted a nasty hot rod sled for a long time. I'd like to build it the way it was probably intended to be built. Strictly race fuel, full porting with crank shop twins. Build a good bottom end with the cat pto and big bearings. And also keep the nitrous setup..I'm addicted to the stuff!
