Has anyone ever rode the Evergreen/Sunridge area? I have a chance to get a cabin for the winter up there but I have never ridden the area. Would like to know before I go any further with the deal Thanks

I rode the area quite a bit last year. If you go to the end of Evergreen Dr. there is a turnout to turn your rig around then park along side the road. The road in to the good stuff is about 7mi, ungroomed. It gets tracked out fast with lots of whoopties. The advantage to parking here is avoiding the crowds...or you can park at the Monte Cristo parking lot $5 at the gate, lots of crowding but its groomed and well serviced. The distance from the Monte lot into Sunridge is about the same. If you get into the upper riding areas around Sunridge, you are essentially on the SW side of Powder Mountain if you want to google it. Also, its easy to cross over into Powder Mountain area inadvertently. There is much more area to be ridden on the Monte Cristo side of things but its also easier to get lost and alot more crowded. The only people you usually see at Sunridge are the cabin owners and friends, so the snow quality can be better at times. Its a beautiful area, nice place to stay if you have access to a cabin. Gas and groceries are about 15 miles away.

Hit up Sunridge on here. NO ONE knows that place better than he does.

I guess I should have figured out the Sunridge Sledhead part LOL
But he never gets on anymore.:face-icon-small-sad

Might not be too bad. I haven’t gone to the west of Monte much. Maybe it’s time to check it out.
