Anybody recognize this bolt?

I landed in a creekbed snow bank today and when I was stopped dead, my 09 M8 SP made a bit of a crunch noise. I found this broken bolt with large nylock nut rolling around under the secondary. When I got home I took the secondary off and looked all over trying to find the source of the broken bolt, but I never found anything. Anyone recongnize it? Thanks

What size 5/16", if so double check all your diamond drive bolts, but i don't think they use a washer.

That's not what's left of one of those bolts that hold the black side panels together, is it?

It's not one of the clutch weight bolts, is it?

sure looks like a mount bolt for the diamond drive, the other side is stove bolt pressed into the holding ring that is next to the track. My guess it is the one next to the compression block which holds the motor from flexing and the motor flexed a bit to much! lets us know what you find should be interesting

Check the A-arm mounting bolts. I had a buddy snap one of those this year.

We have a winner! It was a lower inside A-arm bolt. I also needed the bushing that goes into the bulkhead, that is item #6 in the "Frame" section - it is not in the A-arm part of the micro-fish as I would have thought. BTW - for additional support I added the Crossfire's lower A-arm braces # 13 for hopefully a little more strength without much additional weight and hardly any $ cost.
