Anybody know how to check codes on a '07 Cummins?

I think on the 07's the drivers door needs to be closed, turn the key (VERY FAST) 3 times from the off to run position (not start) ending in the run position on the 3rd and final key stroke It may take a few times but it should work if done correctly

Cycle the key from the off to run position three times and leave it in the run position on the third time and it should read P (code) you may be able to take the code over to the Turbo Diesel Register and have it decoded by some one there. I have the codes for my 2000 but not sure how they will match up to yours. Hope this helps

2000 and early model 2007 should be OBD2 and possibly OBD3 on the 07 (not 100% sure) so they should be the same, 07.5 (6.7) the diagnostic codes changed dramatically and would be diffrent.

you can buy a cheap scan tool from a parts place for under $100. will also give you a book of the code meanings. though most people don't understand what the codes are once they get them:) haynes sells a book, i think its called obd2 codes and meanings, will run you around $20, has some helpful trouble shooting tech.

So, it did it again. My intake takes on snow, and causes the light to come on on the dash. That's two mornings at -30 here in a row it's done it. My air filter is drying out in the control room here, and now I can't work because of it.... Piss me off. I was thinking that my AFE intake might be better. Any thoughts?

Has this happened to anyone else?

The problems with those cheap scan tools is they wont clear hard codes, for most people this isnt a problem but for certain people it is, dont ask me how I know!
