Anybody here ever used a Powder Jack to get unstuck?

Went riding up at Orr Creek yesterday...going down the trail to Takhlakh Lake there was 3 Jeeps that had gone through the deep powder in front of us and rutted the living crap out of the trail.

After fighting their ruts to the point of exhaustion, we finally decided to try to turn around in the deep walls of powder (very few spots wide enough to turn around).

I went first and buried it bad...after much digging by me and my girlfriend we finally got my sled out then we got hers turned around relatively easy.

Anyway, at that time I would have given my left nut for one of those Powder Jacks Ive seen advertised before.

Has any one ever used one?? Experiences?

Thanks,
Vince

ive got one but its not the "powderjack". its the "highjacker". powderjack is a chinsy p.o.s spend the extra money for the highjacker. i live in colorado and wont ride without it best money ever spent you can have the sled buried 4 feet down and jack it right out. i have not strained my back once since i got it.

Thats exactly the kinda feedback I was looking for!

That "Highjacker"...thats the one that you can add extra length to isnt it?

Have you found that added length necessary or do you just use it in its stock length/configuration?

Thanks,
Vince

Paul harris is a My Hero--- spend the extra the powderjack is to weak for the heavy wash snow just bends when you ask it for a 1000 lb of lifting and you got to lift perfectly straight.

i dont see how you could add extra length without replacing the whole shaft. stock length is fine doesent need to be longer.
