I wanted to head up prov tomorrow but I will be hittin Franklin up instead. I don't know how well the rocks are covered up thru the quarry. If you've been thru there within the past couple days, please share!
I was up there yesterday. The trail past the quarry is good. There were a couple of rocks poking up, but they were easily avoided. once on top there were feet of the dryest, fluffiest powder I have ever seen... it was DEEP!! Normally that's good, but there is not much of a base so you have to be careful. Overall, none of our group of 5 hit anything that caused any damage.
Went up yesterday. Decent coverage up through the quarry and the switchbacks. Up top there is a couple feet of fluffy pow. Lots of landmines still out though. I hit a stump just below the warming hut. It was fully covered and not even a bulge in the snow, sent me over the bars...lol.
The road up to the main parking lot is very slick. Most people were parking low and riding up.
