Any word on turbo delivery dates

I just spoke with my dealer, they were suppost to get 1100t's but truck drive told them he was loaded with them, then the factory unloaded them and has no release date set yet. I suspect they found some issues and need to fix them. Hopefully we get them soon, snow's going to be here soon.

i talked to my dealer today and the dates got bumped again wtf... i almost thought about just switching to a 800.. but i didnt i think the 1100 turbo will be worth the wait.. who knows maybe cats putting the newer steering on...

My dealer said a UFO took all the 1100 turbos. So none of us are getting one.

Was at a Cat dealer in Minnesota last week and was told that Cat didn't have enough turbo fourstrokes to fill the snow check orders (Japan disaster) and took back 90 fourstroke turbos from Minnesota and Iowa. Dealers now have to call snow check customers to tell them they're not getting they're snow check. Bummer.

COMPLETELY WRONG!!!

That is not how it works folks. ALL Snowcheck sleds will be delivered to whomever ordered them. DEALER STOCK will be shorted.

Also, the tsunami had nothing to do with it. Cat did not anticipate the demand for the four stroke turbo, and ordered too small of a number, period, end of story......

My dealer here in Michigan said mid november for my turbo and that all sno checks would be filled (which I am hearing from dealers on HCS also). If you don't have a sno check then you might be lookin in from the outside!

Frankly I am glad there is a shortage. That will price up the floor models a bit higher than they would have been, thus (In theory) our sleds will lose less value cause the starting price is initially higher (versus those of us who snow checked)

If you snowchecked, this year it payed off for you. If you did not snowcheck, just wait till next year to get in on all the fun........

My dealer told me pirates raided the ship and stole all the 4strokes and plan on using them to fuel there army....hahahaha I couldn't help but feed the troll!

Don't you guys think it's a lil weird that almost everybody on here has been told somethig different by "there dealer"???? I find it a but strange myself!

Poduction of the turbo mt sleds has been put off for a week because of a problem with the motor mounts. So they went back to 800's.

Was also told by the dealer that they had a vendor change on the wiring harness and that was part of the delay. I don't have one coming, already got my 800.

Jez, if they"re short motors, and pulling stock sleds, what's the wait time going to be for a grenaded motor on warranty? just saying. At least it'll double sled sales, your main ride then your back up ride! lol

Your here from Polaris I'd guess. I've not seen the need for an extra motor.
