well i went in to get a new belt today for a 2000 RMK 600 and it ended up being $85!!!!!!!....so i decided to keep running the old one for awhile longer.
is there any cheaper ones out there that would be worth giving a try?
thanks for any help,

jayson

try online kimpex...dennis kirk...high performance engineering for dayco max etc...yea the manufacturers are heartless...but you need good belts running higher hp...broken /shredded belts can cause nightmares...it nice to have a belt strong enough to hang in there with some warning

thanks for catching that!...i ment, "Anybody know of some"...whoops!
but thanks guys for the help, i know they dont get much cheaper, thanks anyways, i'll try those sights,
but are there any brand names that or better/stronger then others i should know about?
thanks.

Huh???

I'm running a Gates Xtreme 44x4640 on my 900 instead of the 080 this year... Half the price, and it's workin well so far. Grabs nicely and doesn't gum up the sheaves as much as the 080 did.

I have been running the Dayco HPX belts on our 700RMKs without troubles. They are about $50 on sledparts.com

When I had belt life problems on my 98 PS I went with a $28 belt from Dennis Kirk, (no sense in burning up $75 belts), the $28 belt lasted 2500 miles and was still on the sled when I sold it.
