Just wondering if there is any good riding near this town as I have a buddy looking at a job that way?

I think they get enough snow in the winter to ride around down low and he wouldn't be far from riding for sure. Out of yakima, I think the blue mountains would be close to the south and then over to idaho within a couple hours.....
in town.....for a few hours in the morning on a few specil days. as for around, lots of riding around the blues and if you hook up with some farmers in the palouse....there is some wild jumpin' the windlips. you are gonna drive 1-2 hours to get to a lot of area, but there is plenty.

With in a couple hours you can be in some awesome riding. Pasco would be great if you have a boat

It really doesn't snow here in Pasco...or at least what they call snow here is not what I'm used to calling snow!
But there is good riding east and west of us...we're about two hours away from where we ride. Tell him to get a boat...or jetskis for the summer though, it gets hot here and the river is the only thing here, besides bars I suppose

Ummmm.......when I moved here two years ago, I might of argued...but what can ya do, its the desert! Hey, at least the sunsets are pretty
If he's into watersports or dirtbikes..there's stuff to do and its not so bad, and thank Gawd we're only two hours away from therapy!
