Any pictures of the terrain in BC Avy?

Just thought it would be useful for those who have not be around avalanche terrain before and are going to ride the mountains for the first time. Maybe some pics of terrain prone to Avy's will help people recognize troubled areas. My heart goes out to the families involved. 7 years ago my riding buddy lost his best friend in an avy in Wyoming and it still haunts him to this day. I hope this snow pack sets up soon.

37-38 degree slope is most common, look for areas with little or no trees, avalanche runout zones. look for cornices, look to see how many anchors are in the hills your playing around. dig a pit, test the snow pack. trees with no branches up hill, most likley are or have been hit by avalanches.

Look for someone experienced in the area your going to ride. They'll know what's safe or not.
