Any online trading advice?

Looking at getting into the market while it's in the tank, any one have any tips for online trading? Looking at places like Scottrade, TD Ameritrade, E-Trade, etc... and see the fee for each trade but I'm wondering about hidden fee's or how they do their commission?

i do it for a living.......listen to Fosgate..........but its a good time to get in..........last time this happened when it came back they made 3 to 4 times.....

My advice would be to stay the hell away from the equity markets, the above guys telling you to get an advisor or it's a great time to get in have more than likely lost piles of money for their clients and themselves.

Your odds are better in Vegas or when the Dow hits 0

The inflation adjusted (CPI) DOW is back at 1966 levels so how far back do you have to go to make 3-4 times your investment? just asking.

1929............... but i play in the s&p now.....not dow............i have made more than ive lost....but yes im down right now.............and yes its like vegas.....but people dont give me millions to gamble in vegas.....if they did i would do that.........

Brokers arent even sure what to do. Wait it out for a bit.

On another note, I noticed at the bank yesterday that the FDIC has been bumped from $100,000 to $250,000. Must be all that excess govt funding.
