i put a carbonfiber hindle pipe on my sled and its just to loud any way of maken it quieter ??

Same problem, to loud, Yosh tri oval sounds better but still loud.

I have the same problem you do as i didnt know much about sport bike exhaust. I put a d & d pipe on my nytro and its ridiculous how loud it is. I might go back to stock or dish out the coin for a excel. I dont think theres anything you can do to make it quieter other than trying to stuff it under the tunnel.

skinz makes the Ultra Q (same Db as stock) and the Super Q slightly louder than stock...
am working with someone to convert the SuperQ into an under tunnel dump....which should be THE ticket for boosted sleds...
the ultraQ uses all stock mounting etc. but shaves like 5-8 lbs.

Hindle used to make a small perferated core which slipped into the outlet & was good for a few db decrease.
well today i cut my muffler in half to make it shorter so my made up 90 elbow would clear the tunnel and i sounds good not so loud any more works good and easy to do tunnnel dump it the way to go no more melting gerry cans
Hi, do you have any pictures of it? I´m looking for ideas on how to make a quiet tunnel dump exhaust on my RTX 
well all i did was drill the rivets out of my pipe and then i cut it down to 7 inches so i actualy cut the muffler in half and then i got a pice of muffler pipe 2 inch 90 elbow and i modifyed the pipe into the muffler and it works awsome not ear piercing loud any more and it looks good ill post some pitures
