Any one running a D&D y on a stock M 1000 with a can? It has a fuel pressure regulator set @ 42. Do you see noticeable gains?

Or any other Y pipe on a stock sled? ( no controller) Called a retailer that is having a great sale on D & D and he said to bump up the fuel pressure about 2 more pounds.

Yep.. Quite a few of us are running D&D y-pipes with good success.:)
What I run is in my signiture w/ no fuel adders or control box. I did jump up to 92 octane fuel though just to be safe.
I ride from 5000 and up.

I ran the BMP Y pipe with a BMP can. Ran the fuel at 49psi (BMP fuel pressure regulator). Ran very well on the top end and bottom. But the mid range was ugly lean. Bumped the pressure to 51psi to get the mid range safe. Then I was fat on the bottom. and a bit fat on top. Installed a 2 deg key to clean up the bottom and it ran pretty good. Still not right. Took the key out (had to run some high octane for det control with the key), took the fuel pressure back down to 42psi and put a box on it. Still working on getting it right. Will be putting the TPS wire on the servo control for the power valves to get the fuel curve to adjust for the opening of the power valves. Can't get it right with the standard RPM adjustments. :(

But I noticed a big difference between the stock Y pipe and the BMP Y pipe. Pulls much better with the aftermarket Y pipe.
