Well if you live in the valley you know how nice it is to see clear sky! I can't wait for the weekend, hopefully with fresh snow we can get out of the damn inversion. All we need is a February like last year!

I sure hope so!!!!
I havn't gone sleding for a couple weeks because we havn't got any snow. Went dirt bike riding last weekend and snowboarding the week before.
I remember last year or the year before we got screwed the whole month of january also and then got dumped on in febuary. Last year was badass!!! I like the bottomless days the most. It can be alot of work, but it is alot of fun. Great going sledding and their is only one or two other groups of sleds on the hill. Their was a few days at west mountain last year I remember breaking trail over the bars all the way to the warming hut. Buddys getting stuck on the flats around the warming hut.
Their was one day at pilots peak my buddy on his rev 151 and me on my xp 154, two other xp 163's and 3 newer cat 162's. It took us all day to get 3/4 the way up to the towers. Then it gets tight in the trees up hill and we didn't want to take the chance so we just played around.
Bring it on!! Their is no such thing as too much snow... :D

Over the past week it has been clear, blue, 40ish afternoon with some untracked 6-8 and getting heavy (spring skiing conditions). Snowed an inch today/tonight so far on WMR.

Snow forcasted through Monday, how much unknown.

Slow the hell down on WMR, you are almost there!!

It felt too cold to snow today but it did put down an inch at the lake. 2" to 4" forcasted for tonight with 1" tomorrow. Was crusty in many spots Monday up top.

The storm last weekend went to the east and missed us. Boned

Took a ride up this morning to check it out. 2.5" fresh is all. Peaks are in the clouds but not much moisture comming down.

If anything happens, I will update ya.

I want to ride the toboggan! Looks like it is west one ridge?

Too good to be true..heh

That is the road that is plowed to the radar for maintenance folk.

I see no reason one of those shiny round metal disk sleds that Chevy Chase used would not work like a champ. Let me know when you go up. I have a camera.

I had some funny looks from people when I told them there was a toboggan run on West Mtn. Thats my story and I am sticking to it!
