It looks a little different now, it's got a shorty Boss seat on it, a BR tech thrasher hood, a Timbersled rear skid and a Fabcraft front. It's 174 Twisted Turbo 07' 1000:D

I believe they are nutrino vents - specialty sleds in Edmonton imported them in, but I'm sure they are from the states - I bought it with no packaging. If your local dealer deals with Parts Unlimited or Rec Supply - he likely has a listing in the new catalog. Might want to check with mountain fit - I believe they make the same one.

HOOCH That sled is very interesting but cheff & I will not worry about it (cant see that stupid thing from the Top of the Mountain ) it will look pretty sittin on the groomed trail.

ooooo, sounds like somebody is a lil jealous:D.....its ok tho you two lil boys can climb all the hills you want together, but tell cheff to call somebody else next time his sled breaks down...which by the way still owes me for the chain and sproket!:D:beer;:D:beer;

BDX intake, how come there are no holes drilled in the tub?

The reason...

BDX intake, how come there are no holes drilled in the tub?

I fabricated a deflector between the pipe and the airbox, and left the shelf out. I run a skidplate and didn't want to take away material from the nose (strength reasons). You will notice that the side nose vents are wider then a stock hood - the machine seems to get enough air between that and the center vent. Lots of intake noise, though - sounds like a old chrysler 440 with a thermoquad carb on it.:eek:

thats a mighty fine looking sled!:beer;:beer;:D i would like to see some pics of under the hood.:D:D:D

Will try to oblige.

MTm7, I'm at work with no days off till end of October - but when I get home, I'll take some pics to show the intake setup / deflector.

Thanks, Karl

Re: hood

What hood are you running?

Sno-stuff poycarbonate hood. Cut out all venting and headlights - made my own hinges and headlight mount. Haven't weighed it, but it is likely half the weight of the stock hood gutted, and I have functional lights and guages - There is a lot of times I'm coming down in the dark, and the Cat lights work very well. Not very heavy, either.
